The public transport in Lima is a chaos. It is quite old and it is dived into the antiquity. There are more than 300 hundred public transport companies and routes in the capital. Very few of them provide a good service. Most of them just operate without thinking about future issues. Knowing this situation, some companies are willing to improve their system and add technology to facilitate productivity and monitoring. We wanted to achieve this goal and prevent catastrophes like car accidents.
The aim of the project is to provide a smart solution that allows a better management of the fleets of public transport.
The users are the manager of the company, who needs to control the fleet and the employees who are going to fill the information of the vehicles.
As a manager, if you can track and control your fleet, you will notice which drivers are committing mistakes, the state of your fleet and the incomes for the tickets. Even though there was a software that public transport companies were using, it was really tough to use it. Those companies that had a software to control their business encountered many difficulties to accomplish the business goals.
Clean the interface and focus on the main tools.
Develop a clear navigation, which is easy to use.
Make more visual the information.
There are two main users. the manager, who control the staff, and the common user of the software.
The web app gets the last incidence in the map. It is possible to filter the kind of severity with the panel of the right. This panel provides alerts of the incidents as well.
In the page of drivers and fleet you are able to see, edit and manage the registration.
It is important to provide a route that allows the boundaries of the incidences. Besides, the section of reports provides useful information in a clear way to supervise the whole system.
